Role Overview
TORCHSTAR CORP is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a leading distributor of the lighting industry and a full spectrum illumination solution provider in the U.S., we offer comprehensive supply chain solutions serving various B2B and B2C market segments, including industrial lighting, commercial lighting, and remodeling.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Process new hires, benefits enrollment, and termination paperwork
- Coordinate and facilitate performance management processes
- Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates and conducting initial interviews
- Administer employee benefit programs and assist in the development of HR strategies
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
