HR Service Center Specialist

GAF is hiring an HR Service Center Specialist in Parsippany Troy Hills, Morris County. As a full-time member of our Human Resources team, you'll be the operational backbone supporting our employees with benefits administration, policy guidance, and day-to-day HR services—helping our workforce thrive while we build roofs that last.

About the Role

The HR Service Center Specialist is the frontline contact for employee HR inquiries, benefits questions, and personnel documentation. You'll manage the administrative backbone of our HR function, ensuring seamless support for a growing workforce. What You'll Do

• Process and maintain accurate employee records, including onboarding documentation, I-9 verification, and personnel files
• Answer employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, leave policies, and company procedures
• Coordinate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure timely processing of employee requests and changes
• Support benefits enrollment periods and open enrollment events
• Maintain confidentiality while providing friendly, responsive support to team members across the organization
• Generate HR reports and assist with compliance documentation
• Schedule meetings, coordinate training, and manage HR-related calendars and events

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; HR certification or associate degree preferred
• Experience in an HR administrative or service center role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and general office software
• Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion
• Customer service mindset with genuine care for supporting your teammates
