Position Summary
Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated Houseparents to live on campus and create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential school setting. Houseparents support students' daily routines, social and emotional growth, and character development while modeling positive values and life skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Supervise after-school activities to ensure student safety and engagement
- Create a supportive living environment that fosters personal responsibility and community involvement
- Model positive behaviors, values, and life skills through daily interactions with students
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to support the holistic development of each student
- Manage household responsibilities, including maintaining cleanliness and organization
What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a residential care setting or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Milton Hershey School
