Position Summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated Houseparents to live on campus and create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential school setting. Houseparents support students’ daily routines, social and emotional growth, and character development while modeling positive values and life skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise after-school activities to ensure student safety and engagement
• Manage household responsibilities including meal preparation and cleaning
• Support students’ daily routines, such as waking up, getting dressed, and preparing for school
• Model positive values and life skills through personal example and guidance
• Facilitate group activities that promote social and emotional growth
• Collaborate with other Houseparents to create a cohesive team environment

What We're Looking For

• A strong commitment to the mission of Milton Hershey School
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or residential setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and the willingness to make a difference in the lives of students
