About This Position
Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated Houseparents to live on campus and create a safe, nurturing home environment for students in a residential school setting. Houseparents support students' daily routines, social and emotional growth, and character development while modeling positive values and life skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise after-school activities to ensure student safety and engagement
- Manage household responsibilities, maintaining a clean and organized living environment for students
- Support the academic success of students by promoting attendance and encouraging participation in extracurricular activities
- Model positive values and life skills through daily interactions with students
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to address student needs and provide a cohesive support system
Qualifications
- Dedication to the mission of Milton Hershey School
- Prior experience in residential care or education preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
