Staff Accountant | Part-Time | Hilliard Center

About the Role

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, managing world-class arenas, stadiums, convention centers, and music venues. We're seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Corpus Christi team, supporting the financial administration of our Hilliard Center venue and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting across our operations.

What You'll Do

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and transaction records for assigned cost centers
• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment coordination
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures and financial statement preparation
• Reconcile revenue accounts, including ticket sales, sponsorship billing, and hospitality transactions
• Prepare financial reports, account analyses, and variance documentation for management review
• Assist with tax compliance and audit coordination activities
• Collaborate with venue operations, event services, and other departments to resolve accounting questions and ensure data accuracy

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality and compliance
• Availability for part-time hours as scheduled
