Home Health Aide (HHA) – Night Shift

Yorktown in Delaware County is hiring a night shift Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our care team on a part-time basis. This position provides essential support to residents in our assisted living community, allowing you to make a meaningful difference during evening and nighttime hours.

Working as a Home Health Aide on the night shift at Yorktown means delivering compassionate, direct care when residents rely on attentive support most. What You'll Do

• Support residents with personal care routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, and bathroom assistance
• Provide safe transfer and mobility assistance as needed
• Respond to resident requests and calls during night shifts
• Keep resident rooms and shared areas clean, organized, and comfortable
• Assist with meals, snacks, and hydration support
• Monitor residents' well-being and alert nursing staff to any concerns or changes
• Provide genuine companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and resident interactions
• Follow all health, safety, and infection prevention protocols

What We're Looking For

• Active Home Health Aide certification or state-recognized credential
• Hands-on experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine compassion and respect for resident independence and preferences
• Physical capability to assist with transfers and mobility support
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Commitment to consistent, dependable night shift work
