Zillow is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Social Impact to build products that dismantle the barriers keeping homeownership out of reach for millions of Americans. This is a remote, full-time role open to candidates across the United States.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager on Zillow's Social Impact team, you'll carry a dual mandate: steering company-wide social impact initiatives while owning the buyer readiness product roadmap. Partnering with the Social Impact Program team inside Government Relations, you'll link product groups to real consumer needs and shape product direction at the scale of a platform serving more than 200 million users. Alongside a dedicated pod of engineers, designers, and marketers, you'll ship tools that measurably strengthen people's finances and shorten their path to owning a home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set social impact product strategy across Zillow, spotting high-leverage chances to make homeownership more attainable.
  • Turn housing policy goals into product work with clear user value, collaborating with Consumer, Zillow Home Loans, Rentals, and Government Affairs teams.
  • Own the buyer readiness roadmap, helping users see affordability gaps, find assistance programs, and track their progress.
  • Shape AI-powered guidance that coaches people through improving credit, growing savings, and taking concrete next steps.
  • Work daily with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, Marketing, and Legal, and write strategy briefs that win leadership investment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management with a record of shipping zero-to-one products that move customer or business outcomes.
  • Strong ownership and the ability to create clarity and execute amid ambiguity, without heavy direction.
  • Proven success driving cross-organizational programs and influencing roadmaps without direct authority.
  • Excellent written communication and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Curiosity to ramp quickly in mortgage, fintech, real estate, or housing policy, paired with fluency in data, experimentation, and user research.
  • Familiarity with government programs or community development, and hands-on use of generative AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to speed up product work.
