Build the skills for this role
Prioritise patient communication, infection control, accurate observations, and clinic logistics. No cert catalogue or costs were supplied in CERTS for this role family.
Be ready to walk through outpatient scenarios: anxious patients, busy clinic lists, and escalating concerns to a nurse. Show how you keep measurements accurate, maintain dignity and privacy, and work under direction in a measurement unit.
Strong fit if you are steady with people, reliable on shift, and motivated by practical support work rather than independent clinical decision-making. Less fit if you need remote work or a clearly documented senior clinical scope.
