Cresta is hiring a remote Technical Recruiter in Canada to help shape the engineering and technical teams powering the next generation of AI-driven customer experience. About the Role
As a full-cycle Technical Recruiter at Cresta, you'll attract, engage, and inspire the people who will drive our product roadmap forward. The focus is squarely on building a strong engineering pipeline. This position is remote within Canada, based in the greater Toronto region, and partners closely with the People team and hiring managers. Because Cresta is globally distributed, you should be comfortable flexing across time zones to collaborate with teams in Canada, California, Germany, Romania, and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for engineering and technical roles, from campus hires through highly experienced engineers.
- Own every stage of the process: job promotion, sourcing, outreach, interview coordination, and closing.
- Design creative strategies that bring diverse talent into the pipeline across regions.
- Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders, including executives and hiring managers, acting as a talent advisor.
- Translate market and talent insights into smart sourcing strategies and share timely pipeline updates.
- Deliver a standout candidate experience through clear, consistent communication.
- Continuously refine the hiring process and roll out improvements across teams and systems.
- Develop engineering event strategies to grow brand awareness and pipeline strength.
- Keep the ATS clean, review inbound applications, and report on recruiting metrics and pipeline health.
Qualifications
- 5+ years managing full-lifecycle recruitment across varied technical roles and seniority levels.
- A track record of hiring elite teams to a high bar, plus strong negotiating and closing skills.
- An established presence in the local tech community and a firm grasp of the competitive landscape.
- Comfort juggling multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at every level.
- A resourceful, optimistic problem-solver who uses data to sharpen talent processes.
- Hands-on experience managing ATS workflows and maintaining clean data; Greenhouse experience is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
