About the Role

As a GA Pre-K Lead Teacher at Cadence Education, you'll shape the early years of children's lives by creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. You'll lead a Pre-K classroom, partnering with colleagues to foster a warm, stimulating environment where children thrive academically and socially.

What You'll Do

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities for Pre-K students
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports each child's individual development
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and learning
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's experiences, growth, and needs
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to maintain classroom operations and routines
• Model positive behavior and conflict resolution to support children's social-emotional development
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in the classroom
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

What We're Looking For

• Current or recent experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education settings
• Genuine love for working with young children and commitment to their wellbeing
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and colleagues
• Knowledge of early childhood development and learning best practices
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and creative in a dynamic classroom environment
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and move throughout the day
