The Opportunity
To meet the demands of our rapidly growing base of satisfied customers, Handyman Connection of Greenwood is seeking an experienced independent contractor. This skilled craftsman would ideally have a variety of home improvement skills to support the growth of our business.
Core Duties
- Perform residential and light commercial home improvement projects including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and more
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while adhering to high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Follow safety guidelines and use tools and equipment safely
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in home improvement or related field
- Demonstrated skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and other relevant trades
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site visits
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in using common tools and equipment related to home improvement projects
