Position Summary
Wintrust Financial is seeking a Middle Market Commercial Banker to join our team in Budlong Woods, Illinois. This role will be full-time and requires no remote work. As an AVP / VP, you will play a crucial part in delivering sophisticated banking solutions while maintaining the personalized service that has been Wintrust's hallmark for decades.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate credit risk of potential clients to ensure sound lending practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with middle market commercial clients, including small businesses and mid-sized enterprises

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive banking solutions that meet client needs

What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending, preferably within a middle market or corporate banking environment
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial statements and creditworthiness of clients
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and loan origination systems
- Certified Commercial Lender (CCL) or similar certification is a plus
