What This Role Involves
At Anchorage Digital, we are building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto. Our mission is to enable institutions through custody, staking, trading, governance, settlement, and the industry's leading security infrastructure. Home to Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., we also serve institutions through Anchorage Digital Singapore, Porto by Anchorage Digital, and other offerings.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of legal strategies for our digital asset platform
- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements with a focus on corporate and commercial matters
- Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance issues related to crypto assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, operations, and IT
- Support the growth of our global presence through strategic legal advice
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably in the tech or financial services industry
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
