The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Legal Associate to join our dynamic legal team at Scout Incorporation. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in supporting corporate governance tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes.

Core Duties

• Assist with corporate governance tasks including required filings, board/shareholder matters, and equity-related projects
• Provide support for corporate transactions such as mergers & acquisitions (M&A), financings, and capital market transactions
• Help build and maintain company-wide and internal legal processes and programs to ensure compliance and efficiency

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in law or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, governance, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Exemplary attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a legal or corporate environment is preferred
