About the Role
As a Freelance In-Person Event Host for Visit.org, you'll be the face of our interactive social impact initiatives, delivering engaging, memorable experiences for corporate partners at venues throughout Austin and Travis County. This is a full-time contract position for someone who loves working directly with audiences and bringing purpose-driven events to life.
What You'll Do
- Host and facilitate interactive social impact experiences at in-person corporate events throughout the Austin area
- Engage audiences with dynamic presentations and activities designed to inspire corporate partners
- Build rapport with event attendees and create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere
- Collaborate with the Visit.org Events team to execute event logistics and deliver brand messaging
- Adapt your hosting style to different audiences, venues, and event formats
- Represent Visit.org's mission and values with authenticity and professionalism at every event
What We're Looking For
- Proven stage experience and comfort performing or presenting in front of live audiences
- Natural ability to engage, inspire, and connect with diverse groups of people
- Strong communication skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Passion for social impact and alignment with Visit.org's mission
- Flexibility and reliability for contract-based event hosting work
- Availability to travel within Austin, Travis County for event locations
