Floating Environmental Services Specialist (Maintenance) Southern New Jersey

Monarch Communities seeks a Floating Environmental Services Specialist (Maintenance) based in Morristown, Morris County, to manage environmental operations and facility cleanliness standards across our senior living communities throughout Southern New Jersey. This full-time role reports to our Regional Director of Facilities and VP of Construction & Facilities, with daily coordination through community leadership based on assignment.

About the Role

You'll serve as the environmental steward across multiple locations, ensuring our communities maintain rigorous cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance standards. Your ability to work flexibly across assigned communities while upholding consistent operational excellence will be essential to resident safety and satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute cleaning and sanitation protocols that meet health department requirements and best practices for senior living environments
• Oversee environmental maintenance activities, equipment operations, and supply chain management across assigned communities
• Ensure adherence to state health codes, infection prevention standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment, schedule replacements, and manage supply inventory
• Lead and coordinate environmental services staff, providing training on procedures and safety protocols
• Address urgent maintenance and environmental issues to support continuous facility operations
• Generate compliance documentation and maintain records for facility administrators

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience in environmental services, maintenance coordination, or healthcare facility operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation protocols, cleaning methodologies, and infection control standards
• Thorough understanding of health regulations applicable to senior living communities
• Proven track record managing multiple responsibilities while rotating between locations
• Strong organizational and team leadership capabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; industry certifications preferred
• Availability to travel within the Southern New Jersey region as assigned
