Role Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Firefighter 2 to join our team in City Ranch, California. As a Firefighter 2, you will be responsible for providing emergency response and fire suppression services while ensuring the safety of personnel and property.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide prompt and effective firefighting services.
• Assist in search and rescue operations, hazardous material management, and other emergency response activities.
• Maintain fire apparatus, equipment, and facilities in a state of readiness for immediate deployment.
• Participate in training exercises to maintain proficiency in firefighting techniques and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• A valid California Firefighter 2 certification or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
• Completion of a state-approved fire academy program, or equivalent experience.
• Possession of a Secret clearance or eligibility for one.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
