About the Role
As a Fire Watch Security Officer in Woodland, you will serve as a dedicated on-site presence, monitoring facilities for fire hazards and supporting the safety of clients throughout the Yolo County area. This is a full-time, in-person position with Hammer Head Security, a firm that has protected the Central Valley, Sacramento Region, and Bay Area since 2012.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular fire watch patrols and inspections of assigned sites in Woodland, CA
- Watch for fire risks, faulty equipment, and other safety hazards, responding promptly when issues arise
- Keep accurate logs of rounds, observations, and any incidents during each shift
- Alert emergency services and site management quickly in the event of a fire or threat
- Maintain a professional, visible deterrent to protect personnel and property
Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the role and any state-required security or guard credentials
- Dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently on-site in Woodland, Yolo County
- Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication for incident reporting
- Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including shifts as assigned
