About the Role

As a Fire Suppression Service Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire suppression systems in commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Nashville area. You'll work directly with customers to ensure their fire safety systems operate reliably and meet all regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Install, test, and maintain fire suppression equipment including sprinkler systems, extinguishing agents, and detection devices
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems comply with fire codes and safety standards
  • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment in the field
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system documentation
  • Document all work completed and maintain detailed service records
  • Communicate clearly with customers about system status, repairs needed, and maintenance schedules
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations while working with hazardous materials

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical certification in fire suppression systems or willingness to obtain certification through our paid training program
  • Experience with mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, or related technical work preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Physical capability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments
