About the Role

As a Fire Suppression Service Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire suppression systems in commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Nashville area. This is hands-on technical work that requires precision, attention to safety protocols, and a commitment to excellence. You'll work directly with customers to ensure their fire safety systems operate reliably and meet all regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Install, test, and maintain fire suppression equipment including sprinkler systems, extinguishing agents, and detection devices
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems comply with fire codes and safety standards
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment in the field
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system documentation
• Document all work completed and maintain detailed service records
• Communicate clearly with customers about system status, repairs needed, and maintenance schedules
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations while working with hazardous materials

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certification in fire suppression systems or willingness to obtain certification through our paid training program
• Experience with mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, or related technical work preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Physical capability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments
