Field Event Sales Representative

Acosta Group is hiring a full-time Field Event Sales Representative in Newark, Alameda County to drive adoption of Verizon products and services through direct community and commercial engagement.

About the Role

As a Field Event Sales Representative, you'll work independently to connect Verizon solutions with local communities, property managers, and property owners throughout the Newark area. You'll plan and execute in-person events and activations that showcase our offerings, build relationships with decision-makers, and convert interest into measurable business results. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives working solo and takes pride in owning outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Design, plan, and execute field events and community activations to promote Verizon products and services
• Identify and qualify property managers, community leaders, and business owners as prospects
• Deliver product demonstrations and consultative conversations tailored to customer needs
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to create recurring sales pipelines
• Organize logistics, manage timelines, and follow up systematically to close sales
• Track activities, prospects, and results to maintain accountability and visibility
• Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent execution

What We're Looking For

• Independent operator capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight
• Highly motivated, self-confident, and genuinely enthusiastic about building business relationships
• Strong communicator with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Field sales, event marketing, or community sales experience strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Newark and surrounding communities
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Comfort with technology and ability to accurately document sales activity
