About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you are the primary customer contact in our service department. Your expertise, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction and service department success. This full-time position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and genuinely enjoys helping customers make informed decisions about their vehicle care.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers warmly and conduct thorough consultations to identify their vehicle service needs and concerns
• Provide clear, confident explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance—helping customers understand the value and necessity of service
• Document customer requests accurately, translating them into detailed work orders for our service technicians
• Communicate with service technicians to obtain updates on vehicle status and any additional findings
• Relay findings and recommendations to customers, maintaining transparency throughout the service process
• Process service orders, manage scheduling, and ensure efficient workflow through the department
• Build lasting customer relationships and encourage repeat service visits

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a service advisor or similar customer-facing role in automotive or related field
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Ability to explain technical vehicle concepts in accessible, non-threatening language
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple customers and work orders
• Genuine interest in customer satisfaction and problem-solving
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Familiarity with dealership service systems and GM vehicles is advantageous
