About the Role

As Executive Sous Chef, you'll serve as the Executive Chef's right hand, directly overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations and culinary excellence. What You'll Do

  • Supervise and mentor culinary kitchen staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high performance standards
  • Support the Executive Chef in menu creation, recipe development, and seasonal culinary innovation
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking operations across all kitchen stations, ensuring consistency and excellence
  • Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance across the entire kitchen
  • Manage inventory, food costs, and portion control while preserving the quality expected in fine dining
  • Coordinate with front-of-house service teams to ensure flawless execution of special events and daily service
  • Address guest requests, dietary requirements, and special occasions with creativity and professionalism
  • Train kitchen staff on techniques, standards, and best practices for continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive culinary experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, or high-end restaurants
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional culinary training
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive kitchen experience, with 3+ years in a sous chef or executive-level role
  • Advanced knowledge of international cuisines and contemporary culinary techniques
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience training and managing culinary teams
  • Expert-level understanding of food safety protocols and health code compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in high-volume, fast-paced environments
