About the Role
This senior position places you at the forefront of ADC and bioconjugation chemistry research. You will direct chemistry programs from conception through candidate advancement, mentor high-performing teams, and shape the scientific direction of our medicinal chemistry division focused on next-generation targeted therapies.
What You'll Do
- Design and synthesize novel linkers, payloads, and conjugates for ADC therapeutic applications
- Lead medicinal chemistry campaigns from discovery concept through lead optimization and preclinical progression
- Build and guide chemistry teams in synthetic strategy, route development, and structure-activity relationship analysis
- Evaluate emerging bioconjugation methodologies and integrate validated approaches into development pipelines
- Collaborate with manufacturing, formulation, and biologics teams to advance drug candidates
- Contribute to patent strategy and peer-reviewed publications in medicinal chemistry and ADC science
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, or related field
- 10+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery
- Strong expertise in ADC design, bioconjugation chemistry, and linker technology
- Proven track record advancing chemistry programs through regulatory milestones
- Robust publication and patent record in ADC or targeted drug delivery
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing scientific teams and cross-functional programs
- Knowledge of CMC (chemistry, manufacturing, and controls) and regulatory requirements
