Gpac is hiring a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Eastwood, Onondaga County to lead transportation and infrastructure surveying projects for our growing civil engineering consulting firm.

About the Role

Join our team as a Professional Land Surveyor and take ownership of critical surveying work that shapes transportation and infrastructure development across the region. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers to deliver accurate field surveys, site analysis, and technical documentation that form the foundation of successful civil engineering projects.

What You'll Do

• Conduct professional land surveys for transportation infrastructure, site development, and engineering projects
• Lead field operations, manage survey crews, and oversee data collection using advanced surveying equipment
• Prepare survey reports, boundary maps, and technical documentation to support project design and construction
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure survey accuracy and project alignment
• Apply professional surveying expertise to transportation and infrastructure planning initiatives
• Maintain compliance with surveying standards and professional licensing requirements

What We're Looking For

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training) certification
• Proven experience conducting surveys for transportation or infrastructure projects
• Strong technical knowledge of surveying methods, equipment, and software
• Ability to lead field teams and manage survey operations
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
