Observe.AI is hiring a Sales Development Representative (Southern California) to join our remote, US-based go-to-market team and help launch enterprise pipeline for one of the most talked-about categories in AI. This full-time, remote role is your gateway into high-growth tech sales alongside top-performing Account Executives.

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative at Observe.AI, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, opening conversations that turn into qualified opportunities. We're looking for a curious, resilient self-starter who is energized by a fast-paced environment and motivated by building pipeline from the ground up. Although the role is remote within the US, it's anchored to the Southern California region, with travel of roughly 20–30% for customer meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect into target accounts using outbound cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and sales engagement platforms to generate and qualify pipeline.
  • Book and qualify meetings by surfacing prospects' business challenges and mapping them to Observe.AI's solutions.
  • Research accounts and prioritize outreach based on ICP fit, buying signals, and market opportunity, consistently hitting and surpassing pipeline targets.
  • Support field and event marketing—partnering with Marketing and Sales, using tools like Vendelux, and attending dinners, roundtables, and industry conferences.
  • Build deep product and market expertise, articulating our value to both technical and business stakeholders and relaying competitive and customer intelligence.
  • Operate modern sales tools including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Nooks while keeping activity and data hygiene accurate.
  • Collaborate across GTM, sharpening messaging with Marketing and coordinating clean opportunity handoffs with Account Executives.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles at high-growth or startup companies (relevant internships welcome).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or IT fields preferred.
  • Genuine interest in enterprise sales and AI technology, driven by goals, metrics, and career growth.
  • Persistent, organized, and disciplined with follow-ups, with strong written and verbal communication tailored to varied audiences.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to work more efficiently.
  • Collaborative, coachable, energetic, and confident on high-volume outbound—bringing a "smile and dial" mindset and smooth objection handling.
  • Able to travel approximately 20–30% of the time.
