Valley View Community Unit School District 365U is hiring 11 full-time ESY Early Childhood Teachers for its summer program at the James Mitchem Early Childhood Center. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the Extended School Year session.
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate early childhood educators to lead our ESY program for the summer of 2026. As an Early Childhood Teacher in our summer school program, you will work with young learners in a dynamic, structured environment designed to support academic and social-emotional growth during the Extended School Year initiative.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with early childhood standards
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that supports all learners
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Communicate regularly with families about student growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure quality programming
- Maintain classroom materials, documentation, and records
- Participate in professional development activities as required

Program Details
This full-time ESY teaching position runs from June 2 through June 30, 2026, with orientation on June 1, 2026. We are filling 11 positions across this summer program at our James Mitchem Early Childhood Center location.
