Environmental Services Associates play a vital role in hospital operations by ensuring all patient care areas and clinical spaces meet rigorous cleanliness and infection prevention standards. Working days in our part-time structure, you'll contribute directly to patient safety and institutional quality, supporting the mission of OhioHealth to inspire health and wellness across our communities.

What You'll Do

• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas throughout the medical center
• Handle and dispose of biohazard and medical waste according to healthcare compliance standards
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies, reporting maintenance needs promptly
• Respond to spill incidents and environmental emergencies with appropriate safety protocols
• Stock patient care areas with necessary linens, paper products, and sanitation supplies
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams to accommodate patient care while maintaining environmental standards
• Follow infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines consistently

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
