About the Role

As a Staff RN / Admit Nurse with OhioHealth, you will be a vital member of the Emergency Department team at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In this part-time role, you'll deliver direct patient care during day shifts (7A–7P), assess incoming patients, and help coordinate smooth admissions while supporting positive outcomes for every individual who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, patient-centered nursing care across the full spectrum of emergency presentations.
• Conduct timely assessments of arriving patients and prioritize care based on clinical need.
• Facilitate the admission process, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless transitions of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and the broader care team to support safe, effective treatment.
• Educate patients and families, offering guidance and reassurance during stressful moments.
• Uphold OhioHealth's standards for quality, safety, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice.
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Availability to work the 7A–7P day shift on a part-time basis.
• A genuine commitment to compassionate, team-based patient care.
