Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Clearsite Industrial Services is hiring a full-time Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Rosedale, Baltimore County, to lead and strengthen our EHS program across a growing hydrovac and vacuum-excavation operation. About the Role

As the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will own the day-to-day direction of our EHS initiatives, ensuring our field crews and vacuum hydrovac fleet operate to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. Based at our Rosedale, Baltimore County location, you will partner with leadership and operations to keep safety at the center of everything Clearsite Industrial Services delivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and continuously improve the company-wide environmental, health, and safety program.
• Develop, document, and enforce policies that keep hydrovac and vacuum-excavation work compliant with applicable regulations.
• Lead site inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations across field and fleet operations.
• Design and deliver training that equips crews to perform safe dig solutions every day.
• Track safety metrics, maintain required records, and report progress to leadership.
• Promote a proactive safety culture that supports efficiency and lasting customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing EHS programs, ideally within industrial, construction, or environmental services settings.
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong skills in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident response.
• Ability to develop policies and lead training that translate into real-world safe practices.
• Clear communication and leadership skills to influence teams at every level.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rosedale, Baltimore County (this is not a remote position).
