About the Role
This full-time Maintenance Tech position is based on-site in Downtown Austin, Travis County, supporting a premier luxury high-rise managed by WRMC, Inc. You'll be the go-to problem solver for residents and the property team, ensuring every system, unit, and common area meets the high standards expected in upscale multifamily living. The set schedule covers Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Flexibility to pick up additional shifts when needed is appreciated.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance across apartment units, amenities, and common areas of the high-rise.
- Diagnose and repair issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems.
- Respond promptly to resident service requests, delivering courteous and efficient solutions.
- Help prepare vacant units for new residents and keep the property in pristine, move-in-ready condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment throughout the Seaholm District community.
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on maintenance experience, ideally within multifamily, residential, or luxury high-rise settings.
- Practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance troubleshooting and repair.
- Reliable availability for the posted full-time schedule, with willingness to cover extra shifts as required.
- Strong attention to detail and a resident-first, customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work on-site in Downtown Austin.
