Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a detail-oriented, full-time Pathology Coordinator to join their clinical support team at their Scottsdale, Maricopa County location.

About the Role

As a Pathology Coordinator at Platinum Dermatology Partners, you serve as a critical link between the clinical lab and the patients who depend on timely, accurate information. Each day, you'll field pathology results, ensure patients understand what those results mean, and connect them with the care they need next — all with professionalism and compassion. This is an in-office, full-time role based in Scottsdale, AZ.

What You'll Do

• Reach out to patients on a daily basis to relay pathology findings clearly and sensitively
• Address patient questions about their results, providing accurate information while knowing when to escalate clinical concerns to a provider
• Coordinate directly with dermatology providers through phone and email to ensure seamless follow-up on results
• Schedule follow-up and treatment appointments across multiple providers using NextGen Practice Management software
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice standards
• Support the broader clinical team by managing a high volume of outbound and inbound calls efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Confident, professional telephone communication skills — you're comfortable handling a busy call volume with poise
• Solid command of medical and dermatological terminology relevant to pathology coordination
• Experience scheduling appointments in a multi-provider clinical setting; familiarity with NextGen Practice Management is a strong plus
• Ability to communicate clearly with both patients and clinical staff across multiple channels
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks without missing critical follow-ups
• A patient-first mindset — you understand that behind every pathology report is a person waiting for answers
