Divisional Wealth Management Consultant – Raleigh, Southern Virginia, Tri-Cities

Capital Group is hiring a full-time Divisional Wealth Management Consultant to cover the Raleigh, Southern Virginia, and Tri-Cities territory, based out of Parkersburg, Wood County.

About the Role

In this field-based position, the Divisional Wealth Management Consultant serves as a frontline relationship partner for financial advisors, registered investment advisors, and wealth management professionals across an established multi-state territory spanning Raleigh, NC, Southern Virginia, and the Tri-Cities region. The role combines investment expertise with business development, giving you the platform to make a direct impact for advisors and the clients they serve.

What You'll Do

• Build, maintain, and grow a territory-wide network of relationships with financial intermediaries across Raleigh, Southern Virginia, and the Tri-Cities market
• Present Capital Group's investment strategies, fund lineup, and market perspectives to advisors through in-person meetings, group events, and regional conferences
• Collaborate with internal consulting partners and regional leadership to design and execute a strategic territory business plan
• Deliver practice management support and investment planning resources that strengthen advisor practices and client outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, relationship data, and pipeline development to inform territory strategy
• Represent Capital Group's values and investment philosophy consistently across all advisor engagements

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in investment management, financial services, or intermediary distribution
• Solid working knowledge of equity, fixed income, and multi-asset investment strategies
• Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 registrations, or the ability to obtain them
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex investment concepts for diverse audiences
• A self-motivated, results-oriented approach to managing an independent geographic territory
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced designations such as CFP or CIMA are a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
