Position Summary
The Director of Individual Giving at Sheltering Arms is responsible for leading and growing the organization's individual giving programs. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase donor engagement, manage a portfolio of major donors, and oversee fundraising events. Reporting to the Chief Development & Marketing Officer, this position plays a critical role in securing essential funding for Sheltering Arms' mission-critical services.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute individual giving strategies that align with the organization's overall fundraising goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with major donors to ensure sustained support and increased giving levels.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of donor stewardship activities and events.
- Analyze data and metrics to optimize fundraising efforts and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall donor engagement and satisfaction.
