What This Role Involves

The Director of Institutional Giving at SBP is responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure significant institutional support. This includes identifying potential donors, building relationships, managing donor communications, and ensuring the successful stewardship of gifts received.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive institutional giving strategy that aligns with SBP’s mission and goals.
• Identify and cultivate new institutional partners and donors, including foundations, corporations, and other organizations.
• Manage relationships with key institutional stakeholders through regular communication and engagement.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and reports to secure funding commitments.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure a cohesive approach to fundraising efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in institutional giving, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in fundraising or related fields.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in securing significant institutional donations.
