About the Role

Your responsibilities span client origination, portfolio solutions, market analysis, and operational oversight of your sales group.
What You'll Do
- Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors, fund managers, and asset owners in the CMBS market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Mesirow's institutional client base and trading volume
- Lead your sales team to exceed revenue targets while maintaining the highest standards of client service and compliance
- Develop customized investment solutions and capital markets strategies tailored to client objectives
- Stay current on CMBS market trends, credit dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with trading, research, and risk management teams to deliver comprehensive institutional solutions
- Manage client portfolios and oversee ongoing account performance and communication
What We're Looking For
- Proven success as a sales leader in institutional CMBS, fixed income, or related capital markets roles
- Established network and credibility within the institutional investor and CMBS dealership community
- Strong understanding of CMBS underwriting, credit analysis, and secondary market dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate sales teams and achieve consistent revenue growth
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with institutional stakeholders
- Knowledge of securities regulations and institutional sales compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred
