About the Role
As Recertification Specialist, you are the backbone of our leasing and occupancy operations. Your work ensures that resident files remain current, accurate, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. What You'll Do
- Process resident income recertifications and update occupancy records according to company policies and regulatory standards
- Collect, review, and verify supporting documentation from residents to confirm continued eligibility
- Maintain organized, compliant resident files and ensure all required paperwork is complete and properly filed
- Communicate with residents to obtain necessary documents and explain recertification requirements
- Enter and manage data accurately in property management systems under direction from the Property Manager
- Track recertification timelines to ensure all renewals occur on schedule
- Identify and flag discrepancies or incomplete information for resolution
