Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Join ASG Home Care as a Behavioral Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Allenhurst, Monmouth County, New Jersey. This is a full-time position providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently and participate meaningfully in their communities. You'll work with consistent, local cases across New Jersey, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a real impact on the lives you serve.

What You'll Do

• Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meals, medication reminders, and household tasks
• Support individuals in achieving behavioral health and wellness goals
• Facilitate community integration and participation in social, recreational, and vocational activities
• Develop and maintain trusting relationships while modeling positive behavior support strategies
• Document observations and progress in accordance with agency standards
• Work collaboratively with clinical and supervisory teams to ensure consistent, quality care
