The Opportunity

Your Responsibilities

- Develop and manage departmental budgets and grant funding to maximize community impact
- Build and maintain partnerships with regional organizations to strengthen the services ecosystem
- Lead initiatives addressing homelessness, housing stability, veteran services, aging support, disability services, and early childhood development
- Monitor program outcomes and drive continuous improvement across all service areas
- Represent Pierce County in community forums, coalitions, and government agencies
Qualifications
- Extensive background in frontline social services delivery or case management
- Demonstrated understanding of human services programs and systems serving Pierce County's diverse populations
- Leadership experience managing teams and departments within a public or nonprofit setting
- Knowledge of homelessness, housing, aging, disabilities, or early childhood services
- Familiarity with regional services coordination and cross-sector collaboration
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
