About the Role

The Director of Facilities at Discovery Village Farmington is a pivotal position within our senior living community. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, you will oversee all aspects of facilities management, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of our properties to support resident comfort and well-being. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement operational excellence, lifestyle personalization, and culture-driven leadership practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all facilities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to senior living environments.
• Oversee the budgeting process for facility operations and improvements.
• Manage relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential safety hazards and areas for improvement.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing training and ensuring their professional development.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior living facility management or a related field.
• A proven track record of successful leadership and management in a healthcare environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experienced in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, residents, and families.
