About the Role
As Director of Cohort Pathways, you'll drive the strategy and execution of our signature cohort model—shaping how students progress through college preparation milestones, navigate transitions, and access ongoing academic and personal support. You'll lead a team, manage program operations, and ensure every cohort reaches measurable outcomes around college enrollment and completion.
What You'll Do
- Design and refine cohort-based pathways that align with student needs and institutional capacity
- Lead program staff and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute cohort programming
- Establish and track key performance indicators for student progression and completion
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, colleges, and community organizations
- Develop curriculum and support systems tailored to first-generation student barriers and strengths
- Manage program budget, staffing, and resource allocation
- Communicate program impact to stakeholders, donors, and board leadership
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience leading programs or operations in education, student services, or nonprofit work
- Proven success designing and scaling student cohorts, pathways, or similar structured programs
- Strong project management and team leadership skills
- Deep understanding of first-generation student experiences and barriers to college success
- Data-driven mindset with ability to track, analyze, and communicate outcomes
- Experience building and sustaining partnerships within education ecosystems
- Commitment to equity and cultural responsiveness in program design
