About the Role

As Director of Business Development, you will chart the commercial strategy for an innovative company reshaping how retailers adopt environmentally responsible packaging. You'll be responsible for identifying high-impact market opportunities, cultivating partnerships with enterprise customers, and accelerating adoption of closed-loop packaging systems across retail networks. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on account leadership in a rapidly growing market segment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute business development strategies to secure new retail accounts and expand existing partnerships
• Lead market analysis to identify emerging opportunities in sustainable packaging adoption and waste reduction initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and procurement leaders at major retail organizations
• Drive revenue growth through strategic account management and contract negotiation
• Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs and market demand
• Represent the organization at industry events and establish thought leadership in circular economy solutions

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record leading business development initiatives and closing enterprise accounts
• Experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or account management at a director or senior level
