About the Role
This full-time position combines on-site shop work and mobile service calls, giving you diverse exposure to heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine and drivetrain systems using specialized diagnostic equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and preventive service on commercial trucks
- Repair and replace engine components, fuel systems, cooling systems, and related mechanical parts
- Document all work performed and maintain detailed service records
- Respond to mobile service calls and complete roadside repairs when needed
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure quality and compliance
- Communicate effectively with service advisors, dispatchers, and customers
What We're Looking For
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical repair fundamentals
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools, specialty equipment, and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license required for mobile technician role
