Position Summary
A well-established and reputable law firm specialising in conveyancing is seeking Junior and Senior Conveyancing Secretaries to join their dynamic team based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for experienced conveyancing professionals who thrive in a fast-paced legal environment and can manage multiple property transfer files while delivering high standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, review, and finalisation of conveyancing documents
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and procedures for property transfers
- Manage client correspondence and maintain accurate records
- Support senior staff in complex transactions as required
- Contribute to a team-oriented work environment that values efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Conveyancing or related field (for Seniors)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in conveyancing for Juniors, minimum 5 years for Seniors
- Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Afrikaans is advantageous
