Role Overview
Shift Pursuit Pty Ltd, a well-established and independently owned architectural practice based in Stellenbosch, Cape Winelands, is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing teams in Cape Town and Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity for a technically skilled professional to contribute to large-scale commercial developments while working within a respected architectural studio.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and review detailed technical drawings and specifications for building projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project compliance with local regulations and client requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and construction contracts.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist, preferably within the commercial sector.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
