Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at a new boutique hotel opening in Mouille Point, Cape Town. The hotel's restaurant will showcase modern Greek and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, offering guests and patrons a premium dining experience.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve breakfast dishes with precision and creativity
• Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet the highest standards
• Collaborate with other chefs to develop and refine menu offerings
• Manage kitchen operations during morning shifts, ensuring efficiency and productivity
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in high-end restaurants
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing breakfast dishes using modern Greek and Mediterranean culinary techniques
• Strong leadership skills to manage kitchen staff effectively during morning shifts
• Experienced in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and processes in a fast-paced environment
