About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team at UF Health Flagler Hospital. This position offers flexible full-time and part-time schedules, with hours ranging from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, though specific days may vary.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process payments for customers in a timely and accurate manner
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
• Assist with inventory management and maintain cleanliness of the cashier area
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer interactions

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in customer service and cash handling
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively
• The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn quickly
