Position Summary

In this role, you'll anchor our guest experience as a Restaurant Cashier, managing the front-of-house operation with professionalism and warmth. You'll handle transactions, coordinate order flow, and interact directly with every customer who visits Velvet Taco. This is hands-on work in a lively kitchen setting where your efficiency and attitude shape the day for your team and our guests.

Your Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
• Welcome guests and take food and beverage orders
• Accept and reconcile cash, card, and mobile payments
• Relay orders to kitchen staff and communicate order status to waiting customers
• Answer menu questions and suggest items to guests
• Keep your register station organized and clean throughout your shift
• Assist the kitchen team during rushes to maintain service flow

• Available for full-time work with schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends
• Natural ability to connect with customers and work collaboratively with teammates
• Comfortable learning and using restaurant technology
• Calm and efficient under pressure, especially during peak service times

• Reliable math and cash-handling skills
