The Opportunity

Confidential Employer, a South Africa (nationwide) (nationwide)n hotel and lodge group with head offices in Gardens, Cape Town, is seeking a Group Procurement Manager. This role involves overseeing supplier management, contract negotiations, procurement policies, inventory optimization, and supporting operational excellence across all hotels and lodges. Regular travel to various locations will be required.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers and negotiate contracts for optimal cost and quality
• Develop and implement procurement policies that align with the company's strategic goals
• Optimize inventory levels to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Support operational excellence by ensuring consistent service standards across all locations
• Travel regularly to hotels and lodges for on-site support and audits

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Demonstrated success in supplier management and contract negotiation
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement policies
• Strong analytical skills to optimize inventory levels
• A proven track record of supporting operational excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
