Position Summary

As Cytogenetics Supervisor, you'll lead daily operations of our specialized laboratory environment, where accuracy and efficiency directly impact patient care. You'll manage multiple laboratory disciplines including Molecular, FISH, and Flow Cytometry testing, overseeing both technical execution and team performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong people management skills.

Core Duties

• Direct daily laboratory operations across Molecular, FISH, and Flow Cytometry disciplines
• Train, develop, and supervise laboratory staff to maintain high performance standards
• Manage specimen receiving, processing, and testing workflows to ensure timely, accurate results
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with laboratory instruments and protocols
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and comprehensive documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnostic excellence

What You Bring

• Proven experience in cytogenetics, molecular biology, or related laboratory science
• Demonstrated supervisory or team lead experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory
• Technical proficiency with FISH, Flow Cytometry, or Molecular testing methodologies
